About
I am an architect and photographer based in Glencree village, beautifully situated in Wicklow Mountains, (close to Dublin city, Ireland).
My country of origin is Poland. I studied photography at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin.
What attracts me most in photography is an unlimited possibility of creating different ways of perception of the surrounding world.
It’s a powerful medium which can change or create the reality and at the same time allows the photographer for his interpretation.
I am also a follower of the idea of creating this realities and moods by most natural and traditional ways of photographing (using analogue and simple, often DIY equipment), as there is something especially magical in the handmade images, when there is no digital manipulation, and where photographer uses basic tools of creation like choice of the subject, 'decisive moment’, composition and technique.
Exploring different ways of photographic expression brought me to the roots of photography and historical century photographic processes, which’s beauty and mystery I’m recently discovering.
I hope you enjoy this site and will continue to check in on it to see what is new!
